Acuity is seeking a Special Investigations Unit Analyst to work in support of claims personnel and the Special Investigations Unit to clarify issues of fact regarding claims investigations. This role will utilize investigative tools and platforms to research online activity related to claims or corporate investigations, and conduct background checks as assigned. The analyst will monitor the fraud hotline and conducts investigations resulting from information received from the fraud hotline, review/research industry fraud alerts and disseminate information to appropriate personnel, and assist in conducting corporate investigations as assigned. Internal deadline to apply: January 14th, 2026 ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Ability to research, document and disseminate information obtained through open-source intelligence and other databases. Collaborate with SIU investigators and claims representatives on claims investigations. Conduct objective, fair, thorough, unbiased and timely investigations. Conduct and document thorough interviews when necessary. Prepare detailed, concise results of investigations. Appear as a witness and provide testimony at trials and dispositions. Attend courses, seminars and continuing education specific to investigations. Obtain industry certifications related to investigations. Maintain a professional atmosphere and appearance while interacting with all stakeholders. Maintain a positive attitude. Maintain company property in good working order, request new equipment and secure authorization of repairs. Maintain good working relationship with all stakeholders. Knowledge and proficiency in the use of analytical/investigative tools and databases such as Accurint, CLEAR, ISO Claims Search, PACER, Skopenow, Ontic, etc. Regular and predictable attendance. Performs other duties as assigned. EDUCATION: College degree or equivalent. EXPERIENCE: Minimum 1 year conducting investigations utilizing open-source intelligence or other databases involving public records. OTHER QUALIFICATIONS: Thorough knowledge on conducting Opens Source Intelligence investigations. Ability to learn different platforms to research public records and online activity.
