We are expanding in the Eugene/Springfield, OR market and are seeking a Special Inspector. Our current backlog includes several large, multi-year projects in the region, providing long-term stability and meaningful project involvement for our team. The Special Inspector performs inspection and testing services on some of the most dynamic and high- profile construction projects in the Eugene/Springfield region, supporting safe, code-compliant, and high-quality project delivery. This role requires strong technical judgment, the ability to interpret construction documents, and clear communication with project managers, contractors, and clients to ensure compliance with approved plans and applicable codes.
Requirements
- Candidates must possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or a comparable combination of education and experience.
- Visual welding inspection experience is Required

Responsibilities
- Perform special inspections in accordance with approved plans, specifications, and applicable codes
- Read and interpret construction documents, RFIs, and structural details
- Conduct required field testing and inspections within certification scope
- Prepare accurate and timely daily reports
- Communicate effectively with project managers, contractors, and internal staff
- Maintain and pursue relevant certifications
- Uphold strong safety practices in all field environments
- Participating in continuing education and professional development
