About The Position

Ninyo & Moore, a SOCOTEC Company, has an immediate opening for an experienced Special Inspector certified in Firestopping, Fireproofing and Wood (B2 Certified Building Inspector) in their Las Vegas, Nevada office. The candidate will be required to travel to sites around the Las Vegas metropolitan area, perform multiple inspections per day, perform documentation on inspections, and maintain clear communication with the Project Manager and the client’s representatives.

Requirements

• ICC certified in Firestop, Fireproofing and Wood (B2 Certified Building Inspector) inspection certifications
• Thoroughly knowledgeable regarding the standards related to Firestop, Fireproofing and Wood inspection
• Able to read and understand structural blue prints and current code requirements
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Positive attitude
• Good organizational skills
• Strong work ethic
• Minimum of two years of experience
• Current valid driver's license
• Good driving record

Responsibilities

• Travel to sites around the Las Vegas metropolitan area
