The special imaging technologist assists the Vascular Surgeon to perform a variety of device implants and vascular procedures and shares the responsibility in the acquisition and imaging processing. They demonstrate the efficient operation of multi-modality equipment and a variety of image post processing software. They function as an inventory control monitor and restock/reorder supplies assuring stock is kept at par level. Position reports directly to the Team Leader and Nurse Manager. Position is day shift with rotation of call and weekend call.

  • Assist the Vascular Surgeon in performing device implants and vascular procedures.
  • Share responsibility for acquisition and imaging processing.
  • Demonstrate efficient operation of multi-modality equipment.
  • Utilize various image post processing software.
  • Monitor inventory control and restock/reorder supplies as needed.
  • 1-3 years work related experience
  • Advanced technical computer skills for image acquisition and post processing (Phillips Equipment, Xcelera, IVUS, FFR, Angiojet, etc.)
  • RTR - Radiation Certification with two years of experience.
