About The Position
The role of Special Imaging Technologist/MRI involves performing MRI procedures.
Requirements
- An individual who has completed a program in radiological technology. Additional MRI training, including cross-sectional anatomy, is required.
- One year experience as a MRI technologist preferred.
- Has good understanding and working knowledge of MRI equipment, related resources, supplies, and general area environment.
- An individual who holds and maintains (via required continuing education credits) current certifications from ARMRIT and/or the ARRT MRI, and American Heart Association (AHA) BLS/CPR card. Must have completed an approved venipuncture course.
- MRI scanner and ancillary coils, RIS, HIS, and PACS.
- Must be able to perform the essential physical requirements of the job.
Nice To Haves
- One year experience as a MRI technologist preferred.
