Provo City Constable's Office is looking for a POST certified individuals (SFO or LEO) for Court Security and transport positions. We have two positions open in Salt Lake City, Utah. Start at a competitive wage of $20.50-$21.50 per hour and make a difference in your community. A DAY IN THE LIFE AS A SPECIAL FUNCTIONS OFFICER
As a Special Functions Officer, you are responsible for the security of the Courthouse, patrons, staff and everything related to maintaining order and ensuring the safety of all who are at the Court. You will also have the opportunity to transport inmates from jail to Court. Occasionally there are extraditions that we perform from southern Utah to the Salt Lake area.

Requirements

• Must be POST certified as SFO, LEO, BCO or ACO
• Certification must be current with POST
• Clean criminal background, excluding minor traffic violations
• Valid Utah driver's license
• Reliable personal transportation to get to work
• Must have a cell phone, and access to the internet for communication with the company
• Basic knowledge of computers and email
• Able to work shifts ranging from 4-12 hours in duration, depending on location
• Must be proficient in English (written and verbal).
