About The Position

Are you a high-energy finance professional who knows how to turn a "no" into a "yes"? We are seeking a Special Finance Manager (SFM) to make a difference in our subprime department. In this role, you won't just be crunching numbers; you will be the bridge between our customers and the car they need, managing everything from lender approvals to the sales team's performance. A successful candidate combines sharp financial acumen with the empathy and professionalism required to serve clients with subprime credit. Sales team management experience required.

Requirements

  • Experience: We recommend at least two years of experience as an F&I Manager or Sales Manager.
  • Technical Skills: Excellent math skills and computer acumen are essential.
  • Communication: Exceptional interpersonal skills are required to build and maintain high performing sales teams.

Responsibilities

  • Deal Structuring & Customer Happiness: Build deals that fall outside conventional systems while adhering to lender guidelines and dealership policies to ensure success.
  • Lender Relations: Maintain strong relationships with lenders, evaluate new programs, and diligently work deals to secure quick approvals.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and train the sales staff to identify special finance opportunities and move inventory effectively.
  • Operations Management: Manage the "Contracts in Transit" log and oversee the assembly of funding packages to ensure rapid funding.
  • Compliance & Accuracy: Ensure all credit applications are accurate, maintain customer confidentiality, and adhere to all applicable local, state, and federal requirements.
