About The Position

We are currently seeking professional security officers for our special events staff, this position is part time only and includes working at local Indianapolis high schools and their police departments. A Signal Special Events Security Officer will conduct and ensure security of all guests and access points for the Special Events location. All duties listed below are minimum requirements - additional duties listed in the site's Post Orders are requirements as well.

Requirements

• 18 years of age or older.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Pass background check and drug test.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Complete training modules within first month.
• Excellent organization, oral, and written communication skills.
• Demonstrate a commitment to service and professionalism.
• Must be able to move equipment weighing up to 20 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Ensure fans safety and security by conducting careful entry screening and inspections.
• Conduct pat downs as needed to ensure there are no prohibited items entering the stadium.
• Deliver various dedicated services that reflect the company's values and expectations.
• Assist guests with any special requests including ADA questions or accommodations.
• Monitor crowd activities and report any suspicious activity to the area supervisor.
• Identify and escalate security concerns to the supervisor or nearest Law Enforcement Officer.
• Complete special projects and assignments as business dictates.
• Write detailed and accurate reports utilizing company technology during each shift.
• Arrive on time for shifts, clock in and out, and meet time commitments.
• Interact with internal and external customers on site to cultivate a customer service relationship.
• Care for any Signal equipment assigned during shift.

Benefits
