Special Events Security Guard

About the position

A Signal Special Events Security Guard will conduct and ensure security of all guests and access points for the Special Events location. All duties listed below are minimum requirements - additional duties listed in the site's Post Orders are requirements as well.

Responsibilities

• Ensure fans safety and security by conducting careful entry screening and inspections.
• Conduct pat downs as needed to ensure there are no prohibited items entering the stadium.
• Deliver various dedicated services that reflect the company's values and expectations.
• Assist guests with any special requests including ADA questions or accommodations.
• Monitor crowd activities and report any suspicious activity to your area supervisor.
• Identify and escalate security concerns to your supervisor or nearest Law Enforcement Officer.
• Complete special projects and assignments as business dictates.
• Write detailed and accurate reports utilizing company technology during each shift.
• Arrive on time for shifts, clock in and out, and meet time commitments.
• Interact with internal and external customers to cultivate a customer service relationship.
• Care for any Signal equipment assigned during shift.

Requirements

• 18 years of age or older
• High school diploma or GED
• Pass background check and drug test
• Must have reliable transportation
• Complete training modules within first month
• Excellent organization, oral, and written communication skills
• Demonstrate a commitment to service and professionalism
• Must be able to move equipment weighing up to 20 pounds
