Yellowstone Club's Member Services department is currently seeking candidates for a Special Events Manager. The purpose of the Special Events Manager is to oversee and organize special events for Yellowstone Club that are creative, impactful, successful, and cost-effective, while paying attention to budget and time constraints.

Requirements

• 3+ years in Special Events, Catering Sales, or Catering Management at a similar property or Club.
• Strong understanding of marketing and promotion techniques.
• Creative, enthusiastic, and passionate about events and event planning.
• Strong organization skills and a 'leaves nothing to chance' attitude with regard to event planning.
• High school diploma, GED or vocational training or job-related course work.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor's Degree in Hospitality, Marketing, Business or similar field.

Responsibilities

• Ensure that each Member and guest receives outstanding guest service in a guest friendly environment.
• Empowered to guarantee total guest satisfaction, display hospitality and professionalism to our guests at all times.
• Understand and apply all property safety and security procedures to maintain a secure and safe environment.
• Maintain a favorable working relationship with all company employees to foster and promote a positive working environment.
• Delivering events on time, within budget, that meet (and exceed) expectations.
• Setting, communicating and maintaining timelines and priorities on every project.
• Communicating, maintaining and developing client relationships.
• Manage vendor relationships.
• Manage operational and administrative functions to ensure specific projects are delivered efficiently.
• Provide leadership, motivation, direction, and support to the Events team.
• Conduct onsite inspections and advance preparations for project events.
• Responsible for all project budgets from start to finish.
• Development, production and delivery of projects from proposal right up to delivery.
• Manage execution of events from inception through wrap up.
