About The Position

We are seeking a dedicated and professional Special Events Parking Attendant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service while ensuring the safe and efficient parking of vehicles. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. As a Parking Attendant, you will play a crucial role in creating a positive first impression for our guests.

Requirements

• Proficient driving skills, including experience with manual transmission vehicles.
• Strong customer service skills to effectively interact with guests and address their needs.
• Experience with cash handling and operating cash registers.
• Background in hospitality or guest services is preferred.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a busy environment.
• Previous experience in valet parking or as a delivery driver is advantageous.
• Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude towards teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests in a friendly and welcoming manner upon arrival.
• Efficiently park and retrieve vehicles while ensuring their safety.
• Operate cash registers and handle cash transactions accurately.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the parking area.
• Assist guests with any inquiries regarding parking services or facility information.
• Provide valet parking services as needed, including operating manual transmission vehicles.
• Monitor vehicle flow and ensure compliance with parking regulations.
• Collaborate with team members to enhance guest experiences and service quality.
• Willing to work in our Santa Monica location for about 1 month and then permanently work at our Century Park East location (but may need to be a floater between these location as needed)
