About The Position

Why We Need Your Talents: The Special Events Coordinator is responsible for coordinating and being the focal point for promotions and special events at Live Casino Hotel. Position will be characterized as the be all, do all for all promotions and events. The Coordinator will perform special projects at the direction of the Promotions and/or Special Events Managers. Successful promotions and special events are an integral part of Live Casino Hotel being the #1 regional gaming and entertainment experience.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing and/or Entertainment based field preferred or equivalent in professional experience required.
  • Must be proficient in the full suite of Microsoft Office products
  • Ability to work extended hours across all shifts in a 24/7 work environment.
  • 24/7 high energy casino with over 300,000 sq. ft of gaming and entertainment space and approximately 3000 employees
  • Exposed to alcohol, cigarette and cigar smoke, bright lights, and loud noises.
  • You will work in an environment where smoking is allowed.

Nice To Haves

  • Event planning, VIP Services and general hosting experience preferred.

  • Ensures that all patrons are treated in a prompt, professional and courteous manner when participating in a promotion or event.
  • Assists in arranging all entertainment for special events and promotions.
  • Handles any patron and team member questions, complaints or problems pertaining to promotions or events promptly.
  • Responsible for detailed planning and execution of events and promotions as directed by manager.
  • Assists all on and off-site marketing programs, promotions, and special events for increasing casino revenues, also responsible for tracking and analysis of these programs.
  • Complete reports, database, and correspondence in a timely manner to meet deadlines as established by internal and external sources.
  • Works with selected third parties to ensure flawless planning and execution of their events when held on property.
  • Ensures event and promotion projects are meeting established timelines and come in within budget.
  • Performs and completes all other duties as assigned.
  • Adheres to all department/company policies and procedures
