About The Position

Santaquin City is currently accepting applications for Seasonal Special Events Aide. Duties include, but are not limited to, assisting in organizing, coordinating, and working at a variety of Santaquin Community Services programs and events including, Orchard Days Events, Summer Camps, Hometown Market & Concerts in the Park and other duties as assigned .

Requirements

• Graduation from high school
• Must possess a valid Utah driver's license
• All Santaquin City employees must successfully complete a pre-employment drug test and criminal history check following a conditional offer of employment.
• Employees required to drive a motor vehicle as an essential job duty will be required to successfully complete a motor vehicle record (MVR) check following a conditional offer of employment.

Nice To Haves

• Preference will be given to applicants enrolled in college in recreation management or equivalent
• May be eligible to receive college internship credit
• Some experience in recreation programming and/or event planning is preferred
