About The Position

The Special Education Teacher position at Jefferson Elementary School is responsible for delivering and instructing students in instructional material, evaluating and assessing student progress against instructional outcomes and objectives, and monitoring and evaluating student behavior. The teacher will also complete due process paperwork, participate in individual education plan meetings with colleagues and parents, and collaborate with other instructional professionals, administrators, parents, counselors, and other district personnel concerning student needs, issues, and district learning initiatives, curriculum, and building issues. This position is for the 2025-26 school year and is classified as a full-time equivalent (1.0fte) role for 184 days.

Requirements

• Hold or be eligible to hold an LD or EBD license issued by the Minnesota Professional Educator Licensing and Standards Board
