Position Overview: Develop, implement, and lead the review process for comprehensive Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students across the Elementary and Middle grade levels. Provide specialized, proactive, and differentiated instruction across core academic subjects, focusing on closing academic gaps and achieving student growth targets. Manage the classroom environment while providing targeted support for students' behavioral and social-emotional needs to foster independence and successful classroom engagement. Implement consistent progress monitoring and assessment cycles to track student performance, adapt curriculum strategies, and effectively communicate progress to parents and support teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Special Education or a related field (Required)
• Valid New York State (NYS) Students with Disabilities Certification (Required)
• 1-3 years of experience in Special Education, preferably teaching K-8 students with disabilities
