Cross Country Education is seeking three dedicated Special Education Teachers to join our team and help foster an inclusive, high-achievement environment in the San Antonio,TX area ! Position Overview: Develop, implement, and monitor individualized educational services and learning programs for students with disabilities. Elementary School Special Education (San Antonio, TX) - 1 position : Provide specialized instruction to K-5 students with learning disabilities, cognitive, or behavioral challenges, utilizing models ranging from small-group resources to 1:1 or self-contained/life skills settings. Secondary Level Special Education (Live Oaks, TX) - 2 positions : Deliver specialized educational services and instruction to middle and high school students in the core academic areas of Math and Science in self-contained and integrated classrooms. Collaborate and consult with general education teachers to facilitate student progress and maximum inclusion, while meticulously managing caseloads and maintaining compliance with all Special Education documentation requirements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree (Required)
  • Valid Texas Fingerprint Clearance Card
  • Valid Texas Special Education EC-12 Certification
  • Valid Texas Core Subjects EC-6 (or K-5 Generalist equivalent)
  • Valid Texas Content Area Certification for Grades 6+ (Math / Science)

Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and monitor individualized educational services and learning programs for students with disabilities.
  • Provide specialized instruction to K-5 students with learning disabilities, cognitive, or behavioral challenges, utilizing models ranging from small-group resources to 1:1 or self-contained/life skills settings.
  • Deliver specialized educational services and instruction to middle and high school students in the core academic areas of Math and Science in self-contained and integrated classrooms.
  • Collaborate and consult with general education teachers to facilitate student progress and maximum inclusion
  • Meticulously managing caseloads and maintaining compliance with all Special Education documentation requirements.
