About The Position

Ross Elementary School is looking for a collaborative, creative and kind special education to work in the AIMS program with children with severe special needs, primarily autism spectrum disorder. Responsibilities include classroom instruction using the principles of ABA, curriculum modification and implementation, standardized assessments for re-eligibility, IEP writing, progress reporting. Ideal candidates will have experience working with children who have autism spectrum disorder, especially working with children who use AAC devices. Candidates who have experience working on collaborative teams with other educators, paraeducators and related service providers preferred. Candidates who have experience in lower elementary grades K-1 is preferred. Candidates must be MA DESE certified in either Moderate or Severe Special Education (the severe license is preferrable), as well as SEI Endorsement.
