CAPS Collaborative is seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic special education/vocational teacher to provide not only vocational training but also essential life skills and enriching community experiences. Creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment is crucial to this role that empowers each student to thrive both personally and professionally. Vocational and ABA programming experience preferred. This specialized classroom is located in a public school setting with a strong vocational/community component. The applicant will work closely with related service providers and support programming individualized to each student's needs .Integrating life skills training with a focus on critical areas such as communication, financial literacy, self care, and problem solving will be the fundamental building blocks as you prepare your students for greater independence and success in everyday life. In this role you will actively seek out and cultivate partnerships with local businesses and organizations to provide students with hands on learning experiences and job opportunities.
