Position Details: Title: Special Education Teacher Location: Forest Lake, MN Duration: 08-Jan-2026 to 05-Jun-2026 Onsite/Virtual: Onsite Position Type: Contract Working Hours: 37.5 hours weekly, from Monday to Friday (7:15am-3:15pm) Student Age Group: Middle School Autism classroom Case Load: 22 Kids, no IEPs or Evals due to a designated team that takes care of this.
Requirements
- Minnesota Department of Education Special Education license required.
- Holds a Bachelor's degree.
Nice To Haves
- Licensure in ASD preferred.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement individualized lesson plans and instructional strategies to meet the diverse learning needs of students with disabilities.
- Conduct assessments and monitor student progress to track their academic, social, and emotional development.
- Work closely with general education teachers, parents, and support staff to coordinate services and ensure a cohesive educational plan for each student.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that supports the unique needs of students with special needs.
