Position Overview: Deliver direct instruction and specialized academic services as a traditional Special Education Teacher to a caseload of approximately 25 students in Transitional Kindergarten through 3rd grade. Manage all aspects of case management, including developing, implementing, and monitoring Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for all assigned students. Exercise a high level of professionalism and discretion in managing the complexities of high-profile cases and parent interactions, adhering to confidentiality guidelines and maintaining procedural fidelity.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree
• Valid California Education Specialist Mild / Moderate Credential with required English Learner (EL) and Autism Authorizations/Certifications (TK-3)

Nice To Haves

• Prior experience with the Welligent IEP system for documentation and case management

Responsibilities
