About The Position

Special Education Teacher Start Date: Immediate Responsibilities include: Teach small group and co-teach inclusion courses Serve as the special education liaison for an assigned caseload of students Participate in, and at times, chair, team meetings Write and amend IEPs as necessary Attend planning meetings as assigned Maintain student confidentiality Teach students needing social and emotional support Collaborate with support staff such as School Adjustment Counselor/Social Worker, School Psychologist, Teachers, and Paraprofessionals
