Ready to make a meaningful impact? We are seeking a passionate and committed Special Education Teacher to join our team and support students throughout the current academic year. Join a student-centered educational team committed to inclusive learning! We’re hiring a dedicated and licensed Special Education (SPED) professional to support learners with diverse needs. This full-time position will focus on creating structured, engaging, and individualized instruction in a self-contained classroom setting. As the Special Educator, you will develop, implement, and oversee Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) that are thoughtfully aligned to each student’s unique needs. You’ll deliver differentiated instruction through small-group and one-on-one support in resource settings, while collecting and analyzing data to monitor progress and inform instructional decisions. Collaboration is central to the position, as you’ll work closely with students, families, general education teachers, and school staff to foster engagement and success, including supporting co-taught math and ELA instruction. You will also create a structured and encouraging learning environment that promotes both academic achievement and emotional growth.

Requirements

Qualified candidates should demonstrate strong classroom management and communication skills, along with experience supporting young learners with diverse needs.
An active Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with an LBS1 endorsement is required
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university

Responsibilities
