Bismarck Public Schools is accepting applications for a Special Education Teacher for the 2025-2026 school year. This position is responsible for providing direct, specially designed instruction to students in kindergarten through age 21. This includes evaluation of students, writing IEPs, developing programming, collecting data and reporting progress.This position is also responsible for providing assessment and direct service to students in special education as well as completing all the necessary paperwork. Position would start August 14, 2025. New Teacher Orientation will be held August 5, 6 and 7th. A teaching contract is 187 days. External candidates are allowed to bring in up to 16 years of contracted K - 12 teaching experience. Qualifications: 1. A valid ND teaching certificate 2.
