About The Position

Hello, Special Education Teachers! Ampersand Therapy is hiring a full-time SPED Teacher for a school-based position in the Denver area for the 2026–2027 school year. In this role, you will play a key part in supporting student success by providing specialized instruction, developing IEPs, and collaborating closely with school teams. This is a great opportunity for both experienced educators and those newer to the field who are passionate about making an impact.

Requirements

• Active (or eligible) Colorado teaching license with SPED endorsement
• Passion for supporting student growth and inclusion

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized instruction aligned with student IEP goals
• Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs in collaboration with the team
• Support students with diverse learning, behavioral, and developmental needs
• Collaborate with general education teachers, service providers, and families
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to a team-based approach
• Track progress and maintain compliant documentation
• Create an inclusive and supportive classroom environment
