About The Position
The Special Education Teacher is responsible for lesson planning and delivery as well as assessing students and writing high quality IEPs. Participation in interdisciplinary team meetings, PPT Meetings, and parent communication is an essential component of this position. The Special Education Teacher must collaborate regularly with related service providers and general education teachers, and be skilled in providing on-going training and supervision to paraprofessionals.
