About The Position
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is a dedicated and passionate Special Education Teacher for a middle school setting. This role involves working with a manageable caseload of approximately 13 students and providing both push-in and pull-out instructional support to meet diverse learning needs.
Requirements
- Active New Jersey Instructional License required
- Certification in Middle School Special Education required
- Must be highly qualified in ELA and/or Math
- Strong communication, organizational, and teamwork skills

- Previous middle school experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Provide push-in and pull-out instructional support based on student needs
- Collaborate with general education teachers, staff, and parents
- Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation
- Adapt lesson plans to accommodate different learning styles and abilities
- Maintain a structured, inclusive, and positive classroom environment
- Ensure compliance with state and federal special education regulations
