About The Position
Spectrum Academy is seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher to work primarily with students who have High Functioning Autism and Asperger's Syndrome. The role involves teaching in a self-contained classroom model, focusing on behavior management and delivering instruction based on the DLM Essential Elements for Core skills, functional skills, and social skills. The teacher will collaborate with paraprofessionals and other educators to create a supportive learning environment for students with significant developmental and academic delays.
