About The Position
Special Education Teacher – Mild/Moderate Location: East Bay Area, CA Schedule: Full-Time | School-Year Position Pay: $70–$90 per hour equivalent (based on experience) ISO Workforce Alliance is seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher (Mild/Moderate) in a school district located in the East Bay Area. This role is ideal for an educator who enjoys working with young learners, values individualized instruction, and is passionate about creating an inclusive and supportive classroom environment. Position Overview The Special Education Teacher will provide direct instruction and case management for students with mild to moderate disabilities in a self-contained K–2 classroom. This role includes developing and implementing IEPs, collaborating with families and multidisciplinary teams, and supporting students’ academic, behavioral, and social development.
Requirements
- Education Specialist Instruction Credential – Mild/Moderate (required)
- English Learner Authorization

- Experience with early elementary students preferred
Responsibilities
