About The Position

The position is for a Long-Term Substitute Special Education Teacher, anticipated to start on December 8, 2025, and end on January 7, 2026. The teacher will be responsible for supporting students with special needs and ensuring their educational requirements are met during this period.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the special education liaison for an assigned caseload of students
• Teach small group and co-teach inclusion courses
• Participate in, and at times, chair, team meetings
• Write and amend IEPs as necessary
• Attend planning meetings as assigned
• Maintain student confidentiality
• Teach students needing social and emotional support
• Collaborate with support staff such as School Adjustment Counselor/Social Worker, School Psychologist, Teachers, and Paraprofessionals
