About The Position

This is a 1.0 FTE long term substitute position for a Special Education Life Skills Teacher at Totem Falls Elementary School. Under the direction of the Principal, responsible for helping to enable each student to pursue his or her education as smoothly and completely as possible in the absence of the regular classroom teacher. Specific responsibilities for this position are as described on the attached job description. This is a temporary position beginning February 24, 2026 through June 12, 2026.

Requirements

• Valid State of Washington teaching certificate with appropriate endorsement.
• Possess and maintain a valid First Aid and CPR certification for duration of employment with the District when required for position by Board Policy.
• Applicants are responsible for determining that they have the appropriate endorsement and current Washington State certification for the position.
