About The Position

Clarifi Staffing Solutions is looking for a motivated Special Education Teacher (LBS1) to join a junior high team right away. This full-time position supports students in grades 5–8 through a blend of co-taught math and ELA instruction, as well as focused teaching within resource classrooms. With a manageable caseload of roughly 12 students, you’ll have the opportunity to deliver meaningful, individualized support where it matters most.

Requirements

Strong classroom management and communication skills.
Experience working with young learners with diverse needs.
Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with LBS1 endorsement.
Having at least a bachelor's degree from an accredited university is required.

Responsibilities

Create, implement, and monitor IEPs tailored to each learner’s needs.
Provide differentiated small-group and one-on-one instruction in resource settings.
Collect and analyze data to track student progress and guide instructional decisions.
Partner closely with students, families, and school staff to promote engagement and success.
Collaborate with general education teachers to deliver effective co-taught math and ELA instruction.
Build a structured, encouraging learning environment that supports academic and emotional growth.
