About The Position

This position is responsible for professional instructions during Spring school designed to provide academic, social, physical, and skills development for students in specific grades/subject areas to prepare them to be successful citizens and workers in the 21st century.

Requirements

• Requires graduation from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor’s Degree in Education and an endorsement in the grade/subject taught with a valid Tennessee certificate.
• Governed by the Rules and Regulations of the Tennessee Code Annotated and the collective bargaining agreement.
• Commitment for the entire period of Spring school and attendance at the Spring School graduation.
• May involve missing some district training opportunities.
• Attendance at ALL preparatory planning sessions and periodic administrative meetings.
• Availability prior to the end of the regular school assignment contract to participate in Spring school setup and preparation.
• Availability for Spring school closeout operations which may occur after the new academic year contract has started.
• This position is for SPRING SCHOOL ONLY.
