About The Position

Special Day Class Teachers are responsible to the Director of Special Education and the site administrator. Special Day Class Teachers provide direct instruction to and coordinate the instructional programs for students with exceptional needs enrolled in the special day class programs at each school. Provides a basic core program for learning handicapped students consistent with state education code requirements.

Requirements

• Special Education Credential authorizing Mild/MOD.
• English Learner authorization.
