About The Position
Under the immediate direction of the Site Principal, the Moderate/Severe Special Education Teacher is specifically responsible for planning and implementing a learning environment that meets the unique needs of our special education students in an Independent Study virtual setting. The teacher will instruct these students in accordance with established policies and procedures, develop and implement IEP goals, assess students, assign duties to classified personnel, oversee classified staff interactions with students, provide input to the Administration regarding the performance of students assigned to their classroom or program, and perform other duties as legally required.
