About The Position
The Special Education Teacher for English Language Arts/TESOL is responsible for creating a flexible program and an environment favorable to learning and personal growth. The teacher encourages students to develop skills, attitudes, and knowledge needed for continuous growth and development, providing experiences that integrate the affective, cognitive, and psychomotor dimensions of learning. Establishing effective rapport with students and their parents is essential, as is assisting students in developing positive feelings toward themselves and others.
