About The Position

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher (Resource) to support elementary students in a school-based setting. The ideal candidate will provide individualized instruction, collaborate with staff and families, and ensure student success in an inclusive learning environment.

Requirements

• Active EC (Exceptional Children) Licensure
• Experience in an elementary school setting preferred
• Strong classroom management and organizational skills
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Provide resource support to students with diverse learning needs
• Manage a caseload of approximately 30 students
• Collaborate with general education teachers and support staff
• Participate in staff and IEP meetings (overtime may be approved)
• Track student progress and maintain accurate documentation
• Ensure compliance with state and federal special education guidelines
