About The Position

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a dedicated Special Education Early Childhood (ECSE) Teacher to support young learners in a self-contained behavioral classroom environment . The teacher will provide specialized instruction and behavioral support to students with developmental and behavioral needs while maintaining a structured, safe, and supportive classroom setting. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in behavior management, individualized instruction, and early childhood special education , with the ability to implement strategies that support each student’s academic, social, and emotional development.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Special Education or a related field.
  • Valid Special Education Teaching Certification (state-specific).
  • Experience working with Early Childhood Special Education (ECSE) students.
  • Training and experience in behavior management and classroom interventions .
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and classroom management skills.

Responsibilities

  • Lead instruction in a self-contained Early Childhood Special Education (ECSE) classroom .
  • Develop, implement, and manage Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students.
  • Provide individualized instruction tailored to early childhood learners with special needs.
  • Implement Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) and positive behavior support strategies.
  • Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation of academic and behavioral goals.
  • Collaborate with paraprofessionals, therapists, administrators, and families to support student success.
  • Create a structured, engaging classroom environment that promotes social, emotional, and developmental growth.
  • Utilize evidence-based behavior management and de-escalation techniques.
  • Ensure compliance with all special education policies, procedures, and state regulations .
