This position is for the 2025-2026 school year. The Special Education Teacher (Autism) performs professional work providing teaching to students in a specialized subject. Under the direction of the school principal and special education department, the teacher prepares and provides training and instruction to children with disabilities, both individually and in groups. The role involves creating an atmosphere conducive to the intellectual, physical, social, and emotional development of individuals to ensure success for every student. Responsibilities include supervising students in various school-related settings, communicating with students, parents, staff, and community stakeholders, designing student assessments, monitoring and evaluating student outcomes, and analyzing assessment data. The teacher develops, selects, and modifies instructional plans and materials to meet the needs of all students while maintaining appropriate records and following required procedures.
