About The Position
The Special Education Teacher for the Pulaski County Special School District is responsible for developing and implementing individualized education programs (IEPs) for students with disabilities. This role focuses on assessing student needs, strengths, and weaknesses, and creating a conducive learning environment that supports the academic, personal, social, and career development of each student. The teacher will collaborate with other educators, parents, and support staff to ensure effective instruction and compliance with educational regulations.
