About The Position
The Capistrano Unified School District is seeking a Substitute Teacher who will be responsible for adhering to the curriculum and lesson plans assigned by the teacher. The role involves using technology to teach both on-campus and remote students, following procedures to achieve lesson goals, assigning and explaining homework, and overseeing students outside of the classroom, including in hallways and cafeterias. The Substitute Teacher must comply with all school regulations and policies at all times, take attendance, document daily notes, ensure the classroom and work areas are kept clean and orderly, oversee normal classroom rhythms and activities, and compile reports for the teacher upon their return. Attention to detail and the ability to follow written and verbal instructions are essential, along with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
