About The Position

Fallbrook Union Elementary School District is a K-8 district. The successful candidate must be able to accomplish the following responsibilities in a friendly, efficient, and professional manner: Assists students with a patient and friendly attitude and provides oral support in a non-judgmental, non-reactive manner. Assists instructional personnel with the development of a variety of instructional materials. Assist in the presentation of physical and digital learning materials and instructional tasks. Performs other related job duties as assigned. DETAILS FOR THIS POSITION: APPLICATION DEADLINE: Until Filled LENGTH OF WORK YEAR: Student Year Employee Calendar WORK SITE: San Onofre School (San Clemente) WORK SCHEDULE: Monday - Friday, 3.92 hours/day, 5 days/week, Work hours will vary BENEFITS: Benefit package includes, paid sick leave, vacation, and holidays (currently observing 14 paid holidays a year). REQUIREMENTS FOR APPLYING: Equivalent to the completion of the twelfth grade; and either an Associate’s Degree of Arts (AA) or have completed 48 college/university semester units or pass the FUESD proficiency test for this classification; experience working with people of various cultures; one (1) year of paid or volunteer experience working with children in an educational or childcare setting is highly desirable, preferably including children with special needs, supplemented by courses in atypical students, psychology or guidance; or any combination of training and experience that could likely provide the desired knowledge and abilities. YOU WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED IF TESTING IS NOT COMPLETED. A proficiency test is not required if you have an Associate's or Bachelor's degree; however, proof of degree must be scanned and submitted (uploaded and attached) to your application. It is the policy of this District that employment will be offered to the successful candidate contingent upon satisfactory completion of a pre-employment physical, drug/alcohol screening test, fingerprint clearance with the Department of Justice and FBI, and a current verification of a negative T.B. test or chest x-ray.
