About The Position

The Special Education Paraprofessional will be responsible for assisting students with unique and diverse special needs. This role includes working one-on-one with students as well as supporting special education classrooms. The position is essential in providing the necessary support to help students succeed in their educational environment.

Requirements

• 48 college credits or passed ParaPro Assessment for New Jersey.
• Experience with Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) preferred.
• Bilingual skills preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist students with unique and diverse special needs in a one-on-one or classroom setting.
• Support the implementation of individualized education plans (IEPs).
• Provide assistance with daily living skills and academic tasks.
• Collaborate with teachers and other staff to create a supportive learning environment.
