About The Position

The Special Education Paraprofessional under the general supervision of the Special Education Coordinator, Classroom Teacher and building administrators will work to fulfill duties of classroom/student aide as directed. Duties include but are not limited to the following: works with small groups of students to reinforce material assigned by the teacher. assists with individual children who need specific assistance. assist with individual students or small/large groups of students to reinforce learning of material or skills initially introduced by the teacher. assist with the supervision of students in all school-directed activities assigned. other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• A valid/registered Paraprofessional License
