About The Position
We are seeking a dedicated Special Education Paraprofessional to support students with disabilities in achieving academic, behavioral, and functional success. This position assists certified special education teachers with instruction, accommodations, behavior support, and daily routines so students can access the general curriculum and meet IEP goals.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED (required).
Responsibilities
- Provide small-group and one-on-one instructional support under the direction of a certified teacher.
- Assist in implementing IEP accommodations, modifications, and behavior plans.
- Support students in inclusion, resource, and dyslexia/SPED settings.
- Collect data on student progress and behavior.
- Supervise students during transitions and campus activities.
- Maintain confidentiality and follow district/IDEA guidelines.
- Assist with classroom organization, preparation of learning environments, and student materials.
- Collaborate with teachers, service providers, and administrators to support student success.
- Support arrival/dismissal routines and other campus duties as needed.
