Responsibilities

  • Assist teachers in providing services to meet students' personal and academic needs.
  • Supervise students during transitions, recesses, lunches, and other directed times.
  • Supplement teacher instruction to support student learning.
  • Perform non-instructional duties to support the implementation of special education services.
  • Initiate and maintain collaborative relationships with students' parents and families.
  • Recognize the basic dignities of students, parents, and colleagues.
