Position Overview: Deliver individualized academic, behavioral, or medical assistance to students with Specific Student Needs (SSN) as outlined in their Individualized Education Plans, ensuring they can safely and effectively access their learning environment. Partner with lead teachers to implement specialized accommodations across various settings, ranging from general education classrooms to intensive support programs. Monitor and support student progress in areas such as mobility, social-emotional regulation, and daily living skills, acting as a vital bridge between the student’s goals and their daily achievements. Maintain flexibility to support diverse caseloads—including behavior intervention (BII), autism support, or medical assistance—across elementary, middle, or high school sites.

Requirements

  • Associate Degree or higher (Required)
  • Proven experience as a Paraprofessional or Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) within an educational or clinical setting
  • A commitment to flexibility regarding site placement and a passion for working with students across a wide spectrum of developmental and behavioral needs
