TITLE OF POSITION: Special Education Paraeducator 40-60% LOCATION: Stony Brook Elementary School DESCRIPTIVE STATEMENT OF POSITION: Assisting students who have academic and behavioral challenges, including being motivated, staying on task, and relating to peers. Assistant is a member of the inclusion team responsible for implementing the educational plan. QUALIFICATIONS: High School diploma. Experience working with special education students preferred. RBT Certification preferred. Ability to work with patience and understanding. Ability to work with staff and follow directions explicitly. SALARY: Per prevailing contract. AVAILABILITY: August, 2025
