About The Position

Part Time - 10-15 hours per week Location: Suffield Middle School - Grades 6-8 Period of Employment: As soon as possible through June 2026

Requirements

• Minimum of Bachelor's degree

Nice To Haves

• Experience/Trained in Wilson Reading Program or Orton-Gillingham preferred
• Experience working with secondary students in a special education setting preferred

Responsibilities

• Implement the principles of a structured literacy approach based on the Science of Reading
• Work with special education teachers to provide high-quality instruction to students identified through the IEP process as requiring this level of intervention.
• Keep detailed data and progress monitoring for IEP goals and objectives.
