About The Position

The Special Education Itinerant Teacher (SEIT) position at All About Kids involves providing specialized educational services to preschool children with disabilities across various school settings in New York City. Requirements

• BA/MA/MS and New York State Certification in either Special Education Permanent Certificate or Students with Disabilities, Birth to Grade 2
• Cannot be a current NYC DOE Employee but can be considered if 1 year 1 day out

Responsibilities

• Provide services in school-based settings and work with a diverse client caseload
• Monitor and track progress on IEP goal(s)
• Develop and maintain a complete, accurate and current record with all required documents and data
• Deliver in-person services effectively
• Develop creative goal plans aimed at improving overall well-being
• Have excellent organizational skills
