About the position
Become a part of a child-centered, collaborative environment in Bensenville. District 2 is committed to the school philosophy of working with smaller groups of students and teams of teachers. Potential candidates should be well versed in the academic, social, and emotional needs of elementary school students. Experience with co-teaching would be a plus. Candidate must be resourceful, able to adapt and supplement general education grade level content to students identified as having special education needs. Needed is an ISP K-2 Teacher.
Responsibilities
- Work with smaller groups of students and teams of teachers.
- Adapt and supplement general education grade level content for students with special education needs.
- Collaborate with other educators to meet the academic, social, and emotional needs of students.
Requirements
- Professional Educators License
- Special Education Endorsement
- Previous teaching experience preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to be an effective member of a team
- Commitment to data-based decision making and the continuous improvement model
Nice-to-haves
